The Haunted House
The old house stood on a hill, overlooking the town. It had been empty for years, and no one dared to go near it. It was said to be haunted by the ghost of a young woman who had been murdered there.
One day, a group of teenagers decided to explore the house. They had heard the stories, but they didn't believe them. They thought it would be fun to spend a night in the house and see if anything happened.
The teenagers arrived at the house late at night. It was dark and creepy, and they could hear the wind whistling through the trees. They went inside and started to explore.
The house was old and dusty, and it smelled like mildew. The teenagers found a few pieces of furniture, but most of the rooms were empty. They went upstairs and found a bedroom that had a large four-poster bed.
The teenagers decided to sleep in the bedroom. They turned off the lights and got into bed. They were all tired, and they quickly fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, the teenagers were awakened by a noise. They sat up in bed and listened. They could hear someone walking around downstairs.
The teenagers were scared. They didn't know what to do. They decided to stay in bed and hope that whoever was downstairs would go away.
The noise continued for a few minutes, and then it stopped. The teenagers waited, but they didn't hear anything else. They finally decided to go downstairs and investigate.
The teenagers crept down the stairs, careful not to make a sound. They reached the bottom of the stairs and looked around. The living room was empty.
The teenagers went into the kitchen, and they saw a figure standing in the doorway. The figure was tall and thin, and it was wearing a long white dress.
The teenagers were terrified. They couldn't move. They just stared at the figure.
The figure slowly raised its head, and the teenagers saw that it was a young woman. She had long black hair, and her eyes were wide and staring.
The young woman spoke, and her voice was cold and hollow. "Who are you?" she asked.
The teenagers didn't know what to say. They were too scared to speak.
The young woman took a step towards them. "I asked you a question," she said. "Who are you?"
The teenagers finally found their voices. "We're just kids," one of them said. "We were just exploring."
The young woman smiled, and her teeth were sharp and pointed. "You're in my house now," she said. "And I don't like trespassers."
The teenagers turned and ran. They ran out of the house and into the night. They didn't stop running until they were safe at home.
The teenagers never went back to the old house. They were too scared. But they never forgot what they saw that night. They never forgot the ghost of the young woman.
